Location Reports Reports are accessed via TABOB Enterprises Group Inc USA and New Age Tech Ltd (Nigeria). Maps can be viewed as Road view, Aerial view, or Hybrid (Road & Aerial). The map can be zoomed in or out, and panned by dragging the mouse around or using the pan/zoom control in the upper-left corner of the screen. Tabs along the right side of the map screen allow you to view historical location data for previous days/months, as well as access driving reports, configure GeoFence alerts, and set how frequently Globus Pro should send location updates (less frequent updates = longer battery life). The bread crumbing feature allows you to see where the device has been throughout a given day, as well as the direction of travel and speed the device was traveling when tracking a car. Speed Information: Speed information can be useful in determining whether a person is traveling on foot or in a car, or whether a driver is exceeding the speed limit. Location Updates : We can adjust how frequently the Globus Pro sends location updates any time by clicking the "Poll" button on the Reports tab. Increasing the frequency of updates provides more real-time location updates, but uses additional battery life as well as data usage on your SIM card. Conclusion This new innovative state- of- art device strikes the right balance between battery life, device size, and performance. With a maximum theoretical battery life of 60 days, Globus Pro is one of the most efficient trackers we ever tested and marketed. Configured to send updates every two minutes, and placed in a car that drives about an hour each day, Globus Pro lasted about 2 weeks between charges. Set to 15 minute updates, and placed in a child's coat pocket, we were routinely able to get about 3 weeks per charge. About the size of a matchbox car, Globus Pro is slightly larger than the previous mode, the WorldTracker Enuro. However, unlike the smaller Enuro, the Globus Pro has a more sensitive GPS receiver that determines its position more quickly, and also has about twice the battery life of the original Enuro. Globus Pro is also water resistant, and can operate in extreme temperatures. Locating the Global Pro can be performed via a web portal on any browser enabled device, such as a computer or Smartphone. There's also a cell phone portal that lets you track the device using a cell phone or device that does not have a full web browser, though this option costs an additional fee per year. We can pan and zoom the device on our web portal, view historical location data complete with bread crumbing, download driving reports, see speed information, set GeoFences, configure location update frequency of the device, and enable or disable the internal motion sensor. In our USA office and Nigeria, we tested the Globus Pro for several weeks, both in major urban areas as well remote rural areas with marginal cellular coverage. Globus Pro performed very well. Tracking was reliable and accurate, and battery life was excellent.
